  Sara Gilbert is well known to television audiences for her Emmy-nominated role as Darlene Connor on "Rosanne."  

  Gilbert also starred in the series "Twins" and had recurring roles on "ER," "24," "The Class" and "Welcome to New York." She made memorable guest appearances on "Private Practice," "Will & Grace" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."  

  Gilbert's feature film credits include "Riding in Cars With Boys," "Poison Ivy," "Light It Up" and "High Fidelity." Gilbert made her directorial debut with the critically-acclaimed short film "Persona Non Grata," an official selection at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival.

  On the stage, Gilbert's credits include the off-Broadway play "The Exonerated" opposite Richard Dreyfuss and Jill Clayburgh, an appearance in the world premiere of "Downwinder Dance" and a starring role in the Williamstown Theatre Festival production of "Hotel Baltimore."  

  A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Yale University, with a degree in art, Gilbert resides in Los Angeles, where she enjoys photography in her down time. Her birth date is January 29.
