Episode 2.16 Ratings Update

We have more information on the ratings of last night's episode. It was watched by 10.94 million people and posted a 3.9/10 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic, placing it second in both total viewers and the 18-49 demo.

How I Met Your Mother, Bang's lead-out, was seen by 11.08 million people and scored a 4.2/10 rating in the 18-49 demo, also placing second in both measurements.

Two and a Half Men had 15.42 viewers and set a 4.9/11 rating in the 18-49 demo, finishing first in both measurements. Rules of Engagement followed Men with 11.86 viewers and a 3.9/9 rating in the adults demographic, finishing second.

Anonymous, this website has a guide to what the Nielsen ratings mean: http://thefutoncritic.com/ratings.aspx?id=faq The procurement of the viewing statistics is largely done by devices attached to a select household's TV. Only a couple of thousand of devices are used, but enough to make the data representative of the entire U.S. The people with the devices are chosen at random to be demographically representative. The U.K. has a similar system with BARB.

To the Administrator person who posts these TBBT news blurbs, I would add that when TBBT was in the 9:30 slot it did better than "rules of engagement"'s premier
