The grammatical error was intentional. Sheldon is obsessed with proper social constructs and norms. The phrase "no more, no less" is a common turn of phrase he would have learned is used in such a situation. It would also be appropriate for him to use it when speaking to Leonard who he feels is not intelligent enough to be proper.

I love this show, but tonight's episode was disappointing. Of all the characters to make a grammatical error, Sheldon is the least acceptable. "Seven marshmallows; no more, no FEWER." The character of Sheldon would not have gotten that wrong.
