Channel 9 is finally showing new episodes starting next week, Monday and Tuesday nights. Its about time. Channel 9 in Australia stinks.

The program is wearing thin with me with the repeating of episode after episode. Not enough new shows.

Oh my. This episode was so rife with clues about where the Alex storyline is headed that I can't spell them out for fear of ticking everyone off. (and it has nothing to do with the HR subject.)

Big fan of the show - but this episode (the Egg Salad Equiv.) attempted to make light of a very serious subject and failed miserably. Not funny

@Jeff: That's exactly my problem too. I have nothing against character development, but it's abrupt character change is what I don't like. I just felt that the spanking bit and Sheldon being a caring guy came out of the blue. There was nothing leading up to it in previous episodes like showing any development in Sheldon's character in this direction.

Don't tell me to stop fighting! (Just kidding!!!) I don't mind the character development at all. But sometimes the writers seem to throw things in randomly (like Bernadette saying she hadn't spent much time around kids when she had earlier said that she helped her mom run an illegal daycare center in their basement, or Amy one minute saying "all forms of touching including coitus are strictly off the table" and almost instantly turning into a repressed bisexual nymph wanna-be), and sometimes they seem to just run out of ideas and just throw standard sitcom junk in there. I can almost see the writers late at night, not sure how to resolve a situation, saying, "Screw it, I'm tired, let's just have them throw up so we can end the scene". I've watched the show since episode one, and I love 90 to 95% of it, but sometimes that awful 5 to 10% can be hard to take.

I fully respect the negative opinions, but I don't agree with them. I liked the show in the past and I like the show now. It's all right, you don't think is evolving, I think is evolving. Just stop fighting.

No, you know what? Your right. I'm sorry everyone. You do have an absolute right to voice your opinion. Mine is just that I think the show's characters are growing and changing, but not necessarily in a bad way.
