Bob Newhart returns as Professor Proton.

The show teamed up with Lucasfilm, makers of the Star Wars films, to provide special effects for this episode. You can read more about the colloboration with Lucasfilm in a THR.com article.

The Big Bang Theory is in reruns tonight, April 17, for the final time this season. The Itchy Brain Simulation and The Scavenger Vortex air from 8/7c on CBS. Good episode. May the 4th be with you. Some people may take this episode the wrong way, but this may mean more appearances for Mr. Newhart, even though only with Sheldon. This will be interesting to see how the show will evolve over the next 3 seasons. I'm looking forward to next season already.

This episode is one of the best of the entire series. Bob Newhart and Jim Parsons make a great team. The many marriage proposals were funny. Also, liked the Death Star cake. I can not wait for season 8.
