CBS nearing two-season Big Bang Theory renewal

CBS is close to signing a two-season renewal order for The Big Bang Theory, according to a report by Deadline.com. The Big Bang Theory is coming to the end of a three-season renewal deal signed back in 2014, which took the show through to its current tenth season.

CBS's negotiations with Warner Bros., the studio behind The Big Bang Theory, are taking place as the studio seeks to renew contracts with The Big Bang Theory cast, whose contracts are all up this year. In 2014, the ongoing cast contract negotiations delayed the start of production on the eighth season.

Variety reports that the deal is likely to be for two full seasons of 24 episodes each, taking the show through to its twelfth season in 2018/19. If the show reaches twelve seasons, The Big Bang Theory would be among the longest-running sitcoms on television.

Another 2 seasons would be great. The boys should get an award for their guidance system and it's about time Penny had twins.

Please don't let the show end. I have never missed an episode since the very first one. I watch this show with my grandchildren, not many shows appropriate to watch with children.

Love, love, love the program. Would like to see "Shammy" getting married! Leonard and Penny need something more feesh. They are getting stale. Love Walowitz and Bernadette with the "baby" geeat idea on the hoarse sounding cry of the "baby". And for Raj and Stewart to finally "hook-up" in a brommance/homesexual relationship.

Two more seasons would be great! A Shamy wedding! A nobel prize! Howard's dad and tenure. Yeah!

@edna My thoughts exactly. its getting stale. Constant re-runs on E4 don't help. I'll watch until the end of series 10 and stop

To the wardrobe department:Please stop dressing Penny in frumpy, shapeless clothing. It's very unappealing.
