Season 1 Episode Tournament: Result December 23, 2009
We have been running an episode tournament to find the fans' favorite episode from Season 1. The final round has just closed, so we can now declare a winner.
The winner, receiving almost 70% of the vote, is The Pancake Batter Anomaly. The Middle-Earth Paradigm finished second.

Season 1 Episode Tournament: Round 3 December 19, 2009
We're running an episode tournament to find the fans' favorite episode from Season 1. The second round has just closed, so we now enter the final round.
In Round 2, The Pancake Batter Anomaly edged past The Peanut Reaction with 58% of the vote, while The Middle-Earth Paradigm beat The Big Bran Hypothesis with over 60% of the vote.

CBS Announces Episode 3.13 December 18, 2009
CBS has announced the details of the thirteenth episode of the season, The Bozeman Reaction, which will air January 18th.
"The Bozeman Reaction" - When their apartment is robbed, Leonard and Sheldon turn to their friends to create a state-of-the-art security system, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Jan. 18 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There's also some more scheduling news. There will be a rerun on January 25th of 'The Jiminy Conjecture'. There will also be two reruns on a special night and time: Thursday, January 21st will have two reruns of BBT from 8-9 et/pt. The episodes will be 'The Killer Robot Instability' and 'The Cushion Saturation'.
Episode 3.11 Ratings December 15, 2009
The ratings for last night's episode are out. The Big Bang Theory matched its series highs, while CBS had its best Monday for nearly a year.
The Big Bang Theory was watched by 15.56 million people, placing it first in total viewers. It scored a 9.3/14 in households, also finishing first. The show came first in all key demographics: adults 18-49 (5.6/14), adults 18-34 (4.3/12) and adults 25-54 (6.8/15).
The show built on lead-in Two and a Half Men in the demos, while Men came top in total viewers. Bang added 10% to Men's adults 18-34 rating, 6% to its adults 25-54 rating and 8% to its 18-49 rating.

CBS Announces Episode 3.12 December 14, 2009
CBS has announced the details of January 11th's episode, The Psychic Vortex, in which Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years) will guest star.
"The Psychic Vortex" - While Sheldon and Koothrappali attend a university mixer, Leonard is upset to discover that Penny believes in psychics, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Jan. 11 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Danica McKellar ("The Wonder Years") guest stars as Abby, the object of Raj's attraction.

An original episode airs tonight, but the show is then in reruns over the Christmas/New Year period. There's a rerun of last year's Christmas episode next Monday, then 'The Terminator Decoupling' the week after. There will also be a rerun on January 4th, but it's not yet known which episode that will be.

Episode 3.10 Ratings December 8, 2009
The Big Bang Theory posted its best ever ratings yesterday in total viewers and key demographics. The show continued to build on its lead-in Two and a Half Men in the demographics.
Last night's episode was watched by 14.38 million people, a record for the show, placing it first. The show set an 8.4/13 rating in households, also coming first. The show also came first with series highs in the key demographics: adults 25-54 (6.5/14), adults 18-49 (5.6/13) and adults 18-34 (4.5/12).
It built on Two and a Half Men by 12% in adults 18-49, 25% in adults 18-34 and 5% in adults 25-54.

CBS has announced the details of 11th episode of the season, The Maternal Congruence, in which Christine Baranski returns as Leonard's mother. The episode will air December 14th and will be the final original episode of the year and the decade.
