The Big Bang Theory rises higher with Live+3 ratings October 1, 2013
The Big Bang Theory's seventh season premiere ratings rose to even higher levels with the inclusion of Live 3-day DVR playback. These ratings add viewers who watched the show on DVR within 3 days of its broadcast to the ratings of the show's live broadcast.
The season premiere, 7.01 "The Hofstadter Insufficiency", added a further 3.93m viewers, taking its total up to 22.92m, and gained by 1.8 points in the adults 18-49 demo to a 7.3 rating.
The second of the night's episodes, 7.02 "The Deception Verification", added 4.23 million viewers to a reach record 24.67m and shifted up by 1.8 points to a 7.9 rating in the 18-49 demo. This is the largest increase The Big Bang Theory has ever seen in the Live 3 day ratings.
The Big Bang Theory hits Canada ratings high September 29, 2013
The Big Bang Theory hit new ratings highs north of the border, too, with a record 4.61 million people watching the show across Canada.
7.01 "The Hofstadter Insufficiency" had the show's biggest premiere audience yet, with 4.31 million people tuning in to the seventh season opener. The second of the night's episodes, 7.02 "The Deception Verification", became the show's most-watched episode yet in Canada with 4.61 million viewers.
In the 8-9pm time period on Thursday, half of all English-language viewers were watching The Big Bang Theory. More people were watching The Big Bang Theory in Ontario alone than any other program airing nationally in Canada that night.

Seventh Season Premiere Final Ratings September 27, 2013
The final ratings for last night's hour-long season premiere of The Big Bang Theory are in. Both of the night's episodes were adjusted upwards in the final ratings, with the night's second episode hitting a new series high in viewers.
"The Hofstadter Insufficiency" at 8:00 was watched by 18.99 million people and scored a 5.5/18 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic. Compared to last year's season premiere in the same half-hour, The Big Bang Theory was up half a rating point in the demo and added 3.33 million viewers.
"The Deception Verification" at 8:30 had a record audience of 20.44 million people and scored a 6.1/18 rating in the demo. With 20.44m viewers this is now the most-watched episode of The Big Bang Theory ever, eclipsing "The Bakersfield Expedition" which had an audience of 20m people back in January.
The Big Bang Theory easily won its time slot and the night as a whole to finish as the night's most-watched and highest-rated program. Throughout the hour, The Big Bang Theory had more viewers and a higher rating in the 18-49 demo than the other four networks combined. The Big Bang Theory is also the top performing show in the adults 18-49 demographic of the entire week.

The second episode of last night's The Big Bang Theory double bill, 7.02 "The Deception Verification", was adjusted up in the final ratings to become the show's most-watched episode to date.
The episode delivered an audience of 20.44 million, the show's largest audience ever. The episode beats the previous record of 20 million viewers set by "The Bakersfield Expedition" back in January.
The episode was also adjusted up in the adults 18-49 demographic to a 6.1/18 rating and an 8.0/20 in the adults 25-54 demo.

Last night's hour-long season premiere of The Big Bang Theory dominated its time slot and the night as a whole, ranking as the night's most-watched and highest-rated broadcast. The seventh season opener posted strong gains over the half-hour sixth season premiere a year ago.
"The Hofstadter Insufficiency", the first episode of the night's double bill, was watched by 18.3 million people and scored a 5.3 rating in the key adults 18-49, according to overnight ratings. Compared to the final ratings for the sixth season premiere, The Big Bang Theory was up six tenths in the demo and added 2.64 million viewers.
"The Deception Verification" at 8:30 was watched by 19.50 million viewers, which would place it as the second most-watched episode of The Big Bang Theory ever (behind "The Bakersfield Expedition"), and scored a huge 5.8 rating in the demo.
Throughout the 8 o'clock hour, The Big Bang Theory was way ahead of all other programming. The X Factor on Fox took second place with 6.38 million viewers and a 2.0/6 rating in the demo. The Big Bang Theory had more viewers during the hour than the four other networks combined. The Big Bang Theory is set to be the best performing show of the week in the 18-49 demo.
7.04 'The Raiders Minimization' Press Release September 26, 2013
CBS has issued the press release for the October 10 episode of The Big Bang Theory. Christine Baranski (Cybill, The Good Wife) reprises her role as Leonard's mother, Beverly Hofstadter, in the episode.
The Raiders Minimization - Sheldon seeks revenge after Amy ruins one of his favorite movies. Meanwhile, Leonard discovers a way to get Penny to do anything, and Raj and Stuart create online dating profiles, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Oct. 10 (8:00 – 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
