Season 6 Episode Tournament: Result June 20, 2013
Our Big Bang Theory: Season 6 episode tournament has now closed and a result has been declared. Thank you to everybody who voted in the tournament.
Episode 6.23 "The Love Spell Potential" won the tournament. In the episode, the girls join the guys to play Dungeon and Dragons, leading to an unexpected progression in Sheldon and Amy's relationship, while Koothrappali and Lucy have an awkward date.
"The Love Spell Potential" received 52.78% of the vote in the final round to beat "The Bakersfield Expedition". The winning episode received 720 votes throughout the tournament and had an overall vote share of 9.93%.

Season 6 Ratings Wrap Up: Part 2 - Syndication June 18, 2013
The Big Bang Theory, in addition to its successful run on CBS, had a very successful run in Syndication. This is the second in a series of three articles looking at the breakdown of the shows ratings and its rankings. Additionally there will be some comparisons to previous seasons or other shows. Season 6 DVD & Blu-ray announced June 13, 2013
Warner Home Video has announced the release of The Big Bang Theory: Season Six DVD and Blu-ray this fall in the United States and Canada. The box-sets will be released in North America on Tuesday, September 10.
The three-disc DVD and five-disc Blu-ray will include all twenty-four episodes of the show's latest season. The Blu-ray set includes the episodes on both high-definition Blu-ray, standard-definition DVD and UltraViolet downloads. The downloads are only available in the USA and must be redeemed within two years of the release date.
The bonus features are "One Small Step for Wolowitz, one Giant Leap for Primetime, a look at Howard's space mission with the cast and real-life astronauts; "Houston, We Have A Sit-Com", a feature about the cast surprising Astronaut Joe Acaba with a live Skype chat as he orbits the earth in the International Space Station; "Electromagnetism", four featurettes looking at the season's best relationship moments; a Gag Reel, and the 2013 Paley Festival Q&A.

The Big Bang Theory: Season 6 DVD and Blu-ray sets will be released in Australia on September 18. Both the DVD and the Blu-ray also include UltraViolet downloads of the episodes. You can pre-order now from MightyApe.com.au.

We are running a Big Bang Theory: Season 6 Episode Tournament to find the fans' favorite episode of the latest season. The semi-final round has now closed and two episodes have made it through to the final round. Cast your votes in the latest round now.
The Love Spell Potential scored 54.32% of the vote to knock The Holographic Excitation out of the tournament. The Parking Spot Escalation was beaten by The Bakersfield Expedition, which received 53.04% of the vote.

TBBT wins three Critics' Choice awards June 11, 2013
The Big Bang Theory was a big winner at the 3rd Critics' Choice Television Awards yesterday. The show won three awards, including awards for stars Kaley Cuoco and Simon Helberg. The show took home more awards than any other show.
The Big Bang Theory won the Best Comedy Series award. The show beat out competition form FX's Louie, ABC's The Middle, Fox's New Girl, NBC's Parks and Recreation and HBO's Veep.
Simon Helberg took home the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. The other contenders were New Girl's Max Greenfield, Girls' Alex Karpovsky, Happy Endings' Adam Pally, Parks and Recreation's Chris Pratt and Community's Danny Pudi.
Kaley Cuoco tied with The Middle's Eden Sher to win the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award. The Big Bang Theory's own Melissa Rauch was also nominated in this category. The other nominees for the award were Suburgatory's Carly Chaikin, Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and Happy Endings' Casey Wilson.
Jim Parsons, who was nominated for the Best Actor in a Comedy Series award, lost out to Louis C.K. of FX's Louie. Also nominated for that award were House of Lies' Don Cheadle, New Girl's Jake Johnson, Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott and Suburgatory's Jeremy Sisto.
Bob Newhart was nominated in the Best Guest Performer in a Comedy Series for his guest spot on The Big Bang Theory this season, but the award went to Patton Oswalt for his appearance on Parks and Recreation.

Season 6 Episode Tournament: Round 2 June 6, 2013
We are running a Big Bang Theory: Episode Tournament to find the fans' favorite episodes from the latest season. The first knock-out round just closed and four episodes have made it through to the semi-finals. Cast your votes in the latest round now.
In an extremely close fight between two of the season's most popular episodes, The Love Spell Potential knocked The 43 Peculiarity out of the contest with just a 1.5% margin between them. The Parking Spot Escalation defeated the season finale, The Bon Voyage Reaction, by the largest margin of the round, receiving over one hundred more votes than its opponent.
The Bakersfield Expedition easily saw off The Egg Salad Equivalency, receiving 58% of the vote. While this season's Halloween episode, The Holographic Excitation, scored 54% against The Closet Reconfiguration to progress to the semi-finals.
