Episode 6.07 Ratings: Matches Series High in Viewers

Yesterday's episode of The Big Bang Theory finished first in the ratings for its time slot and was the night's most-watched and highest-rated broadcast for the seventh consecutive week. The show matched its all-time series high in total viewers, set on February 2, 2012, and could beat it when the final numbers are released.

"The Habitation Configuration", which guest starred Star Trek: The Next Generation's Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton, was watched by 16.54 million people, matching the series high achieved by last season's The Friendship Contraction. In the important adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory slipped slightly to a 5.0/15 rating, down two notches from last week's 5.2/15. The Big Bang Theory finished first in its time slot by all key ratings indicators.

The Parking Spot Escalation – When the University reassigns Sheldon’s parking spot to Wolowitz, their fight affects the whole gang, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Nov. 29 (8:00 – 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The first break from original episodes this season will happen on Thursday, November 22nd - Thanksgiving day in the United States. A rerun of the sixth season premiere "The Date Night Variable" will air Thanksgiving night.

Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory rose to a season-high in the key adults 18-49 demographic and dominated the night despite tougher competition from ABC with the Country Music Association Awards.

"The Extract Obliteration", featuring the voice of Professor Stephen Hawking, was watched by 15.65 million people, down slightly from last week 15.82m. In the adults 18-49 demographic, the show scored a 5.1/15 rating, up a notch from last week's 5.0/15 to a season-high. The Big Bang Theory finished first in its time slot in all key ratings and was the night's most-watched and highest-rated show.

Season 6 coming to the UK this November

The sixth season of The Big Bang Theory will begin airing in the United Kingdom and Ireland this November. E4 will start showing the newest season weekly from Thursday, November 15.

The Big Bang Theory will air Thursday at 20:00 on E4 and be simulcast in high definition on E4 HD. The show will air alongside fellow CBS stablemate 2 Broke Girls, which will air at 20:30. The digital station announced the premiere dates yesterday on its Twitter account.
