The Adhesive Duck Deficiency (Season 3) beat The Beta Test Initiation (Season 5) by a 2:1 ratio. The Ornithophobia Diffusion (Season 5) was beaten by The Staircase Implementation (Season 3), which received 63.2% of the vote. Both third season episodes now fight it out in the final head-to-head round.

Big Bang Theory Season 5 now on DVD & Blu-ray September 11, 2012
The fifth season of The Big Bang Theory was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada today. The three-disc DVD and five-disc Blu-ray+DVD+UltraViolet box-sets include all twenty-four episodes of the show's latest season with all new bonus features.
The Big Bang Theory: Season 5 DVD The three-disc box-set includes all twenty-four episodes of the 2011/12 season. The episodes are presented in widescreen with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound audio track. English, French and Spanish subtitles are included. The bonus features are a Gag Reel, a "The Big Bang Theory @ 100" featurette and a "The Big Bang Theory's Laws of Reflection" featurette.
The Big Bang Theory: Season 5 Blu-ray The five-disc Blu-ray box-set includes the complete fifth season on two high-definition Blu-ray discs, three standard-definition Blu-ray discs and in UltraViolet digital downloads. The episodes are presented in 1080p widescreen with English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. A Spanish Dolby Digital 2.0 audio track is also included. Subtitles are available in English, French and Spanish. The bonus features are a Gag Reel, a "The Big Bang Theory @ 100" featurette and a "The Big Bang Theory's Laws of Reflection" featurette.

Big Bang Theory Episode Tournament: Round 2 August 29, 2012
We are running a Big Bang Theory: Episode Tournament to find the fans' favorite episodes from the show so far. The first knock-out round just closed and four episodes have made it through to the semi-finals. Cast your votes in the latest round now.
In an extremely close fight between two of the show's most popular episodes, The Adhesive Duck Deficiency knocked The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis out of the contest with just a 0.9% margin between them. The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis had previously won four episode tournaments in total, including all three multi-season tournaments.
The Staircase Implementation beat The Countdown Reflection by an almost 3:1 margin. The Beta Test Initiation saw off the Pilot episode, receiving 52.58% of the vote. Meanwhile, The Ornithophobia Diffusion scored 57.31% against The Monopolar Expedition's to progress to the semi-finals. Season 3 and Season 5 of The Big Bang Theory are the only seasons represented in the second round, both with two episodes each.
The four episodes now go head-to-head in the following pairs: The Staircase Implementation vs. The Ornithophobia Diffusion and The Adhesive Duck Deficiency vs. The Beta Test Initiation.

Kevin Sussman promoted to regular August 23, 2012
Kevin Sussman, who plays Stuart - the owner of the Pasadena Comic Center, which the gang frequent - has been promoted to a series regular for the sixth season of The Big Bang Theory.
Sussman, who has so far appeared in fifteen episodes of the show, will not necessarily appear in every episode of the season like the main cast members. He will reportedly be appearing in somewhere around 7-13 episodes this season. His new contract guarantees his availability to the show as he's required.
Sussman is the fourth recurring guest star to have been bumped to regular. Sara Gilbert, who played Leslie Winkle, was made a regular for Season 2 but later left the show. Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, who play Bernadette and Amy respectively, were promoted to regulars during Season 4 and remain main cast members to this day.
CBS Announces Sixth Season Premiere August 21, 2012
CBS has issued the press release for the sixth season premiere of The Big Bang Theory, which will air Thursday, September 27. Kevin Sussman (Stuart), Carol Ann Susi (Mrs. Wolowitz) and Pasha Lychnikoff (Dimitri) guest star in the episode.

We are running a Big Bang Theory: Episode Tournament to find the fans' favorite episodes from the show so far. The nominations round has just closed and the eight most popular episodes have made it through to the first knock-out round. Cast your votes in the latest round now.
The top eight episodes were: The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis, The Adhesive Duck Deficiency, The Countdown Reflection, The Staircase Implementation, The Beta Test Initiation, the Pilot, The Monopolar Expedition and The Ornithophobia Diffusion. Over 4,300 votes were cast and all one-hundred and eleven episodes received at least one vote. Three of the progressing episodes have won episode tournaments in the past. No episode from Season 4 made it through to this round. While the latest season, Season 5, is the most well represented season with three episodes in the round.
