Season 4 coming to UK October 17, 2010
The fourth season of The Big Bang Theory is to air for the first time in the United Kingdom early next month. E4 will be airing new season on Thursdays at 9pm from November 4th. The show will also be simulcast in high definition on E4 HD.

The Big Bang Theory was watched by 12.47m people, down by around 100,000 from last week. The show finished first in all metrics and set an 7.6/13 rating in households. The show scored a 4.1/13 rating in the important 18-49 demographic, flat from last week.

The Big Bang Theory was watched by 12.49m people, down by around half a million from last week. The show set an 8.4/14 rating in households, up from last week. In the important adults 18-49 demographic the show scored a 4.0/13, down from last week. The show finished first in its slot in all key demographics.

The ratings for the second episode of the season are out and show the move to Thursdays continues to be a success. The show was first in all key metrics, but ratings were down on the season opener.
The Big Bang Theory was watched by 12.97m viewers, down by around a million people from last week. The show scored an 8.7/14 rating in households and a 4.3/13 rating in adults 18-49. While the show was down on the first week, it was the clear winner in the timeslot.

Kaley Cuoco has revealed she and co-star Johnny Galecki dated each other. Speaking to CBS Watch Magazine, the actress says they found it tough keeping the relationship secret. Cuoco says she would have preferred the relationship to be public but "certain people didn't want to do it that way".
'Big Bang Theory' premieres big in Canada
Last week's premiere of The Big Bang Theory was the second most-watched broadcast ever for a sitcom in Canada. Only the series finale of Friends outranks the broadcast. The fourth season opener attracted 3.1 million Canadians on CTV and garnered a whopping 36% share of adults 25-54.

The Big Bang Theory was watched by 13.95m people, up by around 1 million on last season's premiere. The show set a 4.8/15 rating in the key adults 18-49 demographic, also up from the third season opener. The show finished first in its slot in all key metrics.
The ratings are impressive considering last season the show had Two and a Half Men, the most popular sitcom in the United States, as a lead-in. This season airs without a lead-in and at a lesser watched time period, one which hasn't seen a sitcom from CBS for 45 years.
