1102 'The Retraction Reaction' Press Release

CBS has issued the press release for the second episode of The Big Bang Theory's upcoming eleventh season, "The Retraction Reaction", which airs Monday, October 2.

Regina King reprises her role as Mrs. Davis, the university's human resources administrator. Science Friday's Ira Flatow guest stars as himself in the episode.

"The Retraction Reaction" - Leonard angers the university - and the entire physics community - after he gives an embarrassing interview. Also, Amy and Bernadette bond over having to hide their success from Sheldon and Howard, Monday, Oct. 2 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Big Bang Theory starts the season on Monday nights again this year to make way for Thursday Night Football. The eleventh season premiere will air Monday, September 25 at 8/7c and will be immediately followed by the special debut of Young Sheldon, the new The Big Bang Theory spin-off following the early life of Sheldon growing up in Texas.
