Episode 2.11 Details Posted 4th December 2008
CBS hasn't announced Episode 2.11 yet, but we can reveal some details for you. It will be titled "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis", it will air December 15th and it's a Christmas episode!
Christmas brings no tidings of comfort and joy to Leonard, whose colleague starts dating Penny. Meanwhile, Sheldon drives everyone crazy over his adherence to gift-giving etiquette.
This will be the first Christmas show, as the show wasn't on air this time last year due to the Writers' strike.

Episode 2.09 Ratings Breakdown Posted 25th November 2008
From CBS:
THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-34 (3.2/10), second in households (6.2/10), viewers (10.19m), adults 25-54 (4.3/10) and adults 18-49 (3.9/10). Compared to last week, THE BIG BANG THEORY was up +2% in households (from 6.1/09), +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.8/10), +19% in adults 18-34 (from 2.7/08) and added +430,000 viewers (from 9.76m, +4%). THE BIG BANG THEORY posted its largest audience ever, best adults 18-34 ratings ever and matched its best adults 18-49 delivery ever.

Episode 2.11, which will air December 8th, has not yet been announced but we do have some information on it. It will be titled "The Vartabedian Conundrum", and as Leonard's relationship with Stephanie is moving too fast for him, he runs to Penny for advice.
We also have some information on another new December episode, it will see Battlestar Galactica's Michael Trucco guest star as Leonard's partner on a project and Penny will take a shine to him.

Episode 2.08 Ratings Update Posted 18th November 2008
We have some more information on the ratings of last night's episode. The show dipped from last week's phenomenal ratings, pulling in 9.70 million viewers and placing 2nd behind ABC's Dancing with the Stars. The show got a 3.7/10 rating. How I Met Your Mother, however, managed to tie first place in adults 18-49 with Dancing with the Stars, attracting 9.84 million viewers.
Episode 2.08 Ratings Posted 18th November 2008
We have some information on the ratings of last night's episode. The show scored impressively again, grabbing a 6.0/9 rating. This is up 20% from what How I Met Your Mother got in the same slot last year.
How I Met Your Mother dropped slightly to 5.9/9, Two and a Half Men pulled in a 9.0/13 rating, with Worst Week losing much of Two and a Half Men's ground and getting only a 6.2/9 rating.

BBT pulls largest audience ever Posted 4th November 2008
The Big Bang Theory pulled its largest audience ever yesterday. CBS have released the following statement:
THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered its largest audience ever and matched its best adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings while HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season high adult 18-49 and adult 18-34 ratings, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, Nov. 3.
At 8:00 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-49 (3.8/10), adults 18-34 (3.0/09), second in households (6.1/09), viewers (9.90m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/10, -0.2 behind ABC). BIG BANG THEORY delivered series highs in households and viewers, matched series highs in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and a season high in adults 18-34.

We have more info on the ratings of last night's episode. As we reported earlier, CBS faced stiff competition from NBC's Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash special, pushing them into 3rd place overall. The Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother, however, fared very well placing 1st in the adults 18-49 demographic. HIMYM was tied for 1st, while The Big Bang Theory was the outright winner.
The Bang Theory Viewers: 9.90 million (2nd), Adults 18-49: 3.8/10 (1st).
How I Met Your Mother Viewers: 9.56 million (2nd), Adults 18-49: 4.1/10 (1st).
Episode 2.06 Ratings Posted 4th November 2008
The rating for last night's episode, "The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem" are out. The show did well, out shining How I Met Your Mother, which succeeds the show, by quite a wide margin. The show was second with a 6.1/9 rating, while HIMYM slumped to third with a 5.7/8 rating. NBC posed stiff competition to CBS with a special Saturday Night Live airing, this pushed CBS to third place for most of the night, BBT help up comparatively well.

Next month sees the "November Sweeps" period, a period where networks traditionally pull out the big episodes in a bid to get the highest ratings and show advertisers the value of advertising slots. This one will be no different, CBS has revealed the highlights of its November Sweeps period and here is what you can expect from The Big Bang Theory:
Monday, Nov. 3 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) THE BIG BANG THEORY-A young grad student's attraction to Sheldon (Jim Parsons) confuses everyone, including Sheldon.

With the show back into production and new episodes returning to the airwaves in a few short weeks, we are posting information for the episodes coming soon.
Before the strike we got information on Episode 1.09 The Cooper-Hofstadter Polarization, this will be the first episode produced and most probably aired on March 17th.
Here is the synopsis we were provided way back in November: Sheldon and Leonard are asked to a physics conference to present their work together, but that leads to a feud because Sheldon's too arrogant to share the honor. Penny does her best to mediate, but only makes things worse.
We will bring you more info on the shows return as soon as we get it and we'll be updating the site a bit as well.
