Jim Parsons, The Big Bang Theory: As half of a geek duo with Johnny Galecki, Parsons has a dry, halting delivery that makes dialogue seem funnier than it is. As Sheldon, Parsons defends his lack of human companionship: "I have 212 friends on MySpace!" he declares. See? It doesn't read that funny, but it works on screen.
