BBT DVD coming to UK next year

The British e-tailer Play.com have posted pre-order details for "The Big Bang Theory: Season 1" confirming the DVD will be landing on British shores in the new year.

The listing states the 3 disc set will be released on the 12th January 2009. Amazon, Play.com & HMV.com confirm this.

No, unfortunately not, Tony. The show hasn't been released on Blu-Ray in the U.S. and there are no plans to do that, so I don't think there will be any plans to release it on Blu-Ray in the U.K. either. The show was filmed in HD so it remains a possibility, but not yet I'm afraid.
