Young Sheldon

Young Sheldon was a prequel series to The Big Bang Theory. It follows Sheldon Cooper's family life as a child in East Texas. The series ran for seven seasons from 2017 to 2024.

Young Sheldon starred Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper, Zoe Perry, who is the real-life daughter of Laurie Metcalf, as Sheldon's mother Mary, Lance Barber as Sheldon's father George, Montana Jordan as Sheldon's older brother George Jr., Raegan Revord as Sheldon's twin sister Missy, and Annie Potts as Meemaw. Jim Parsons narrated the show as adult Sheldon.

Young Sheldon was created by The Big Bang Theory's co-creator and executive producer, Chuck Lorre, and executive producer, Steven Molaro. Young Sheldon was a single-camera comedy, rather than the multi-camera format of The Big Bang Theory.
