Mark Hamill is an American actor best known for playing Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars film franchise. Almost three decades on from his role in the original Star Wars trilogy, Hamill has recently reprised his role in the latest Star Wars films The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Some of Hamill's other film credits include Corvette Summer, The Big Red One, Midnight Ride, The Guyver, Village of the Damned, and most recently Kingsman: The Secret Service.

On television, he has made guest appearances on shows including 3rd Rock from the Sun, Just Shoot Me!, Chuck, and Criminal Minds. He has also lent his voice to episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy.

Hamill is also a prolific voice-over artist in films, on TV and in video games. Hamill has lent his voice to The Joker in a number of Batman features, along with voicing characters in Scooby Doo! and Tom and Jerry properties.

He has also appeared in Broadway shows including The Elephant Man, Amadeus, Harrigan 'n Hart, and an off-Broadway production of Room Service.
