Site Updates June 26, 2008
As you may have noticed, we have made some changes to the site over the last couple of the days.
We have introduced tags for the news stories, similar to blogs, and so you can now follow specific subjects easily through the tags.
We have also redesigned certain pages, with changes to the news system & episode guide.
We have further changes to come, so keep a look out. We're using the summer hiatus to add new features to the site and fix things, so we're ready for the second season which will start in September.
We should also point out that our Privacy Policy has been updated, it is worth reading. View privacy policy here.
Actors to strike? June 24, 2008
One strike in a year is bad luck, but two? A scary prospect which will put fear in the heart of studio execs. The Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and the Alliance of Motion Picture & Television Producers (AMPTP), look like they will not reach agreement on a pay-deal before the deadline next Tuesday.
A strike would disrupt production of movies & television shows, such as The Big Bang Theory. The previous season was heavily interrupted by the Writers' Strike.
Kaley Cuoco to appear on Letterman June 23, 2008
Kaley Cuoco will be appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman this Friday (27th June) at 11:30PM on CBS.
This is her first appearance on Letterman, and her first appearance on the big talk shows like Letterman or Leno.
DVD to be released in UK? May 28, 2008
Amazon.co.uk has posted details of The Big Bang Theory: Season 1 which seems to show that the DVD will be released in the United Kingdom.
It is not certain at this point, some of the details listed there are direct copies of the US release which are probably not going to be true in the UK. The release on a Tuesday is not usual in the UK so September 2nd doesn't look like it will be the release day.

DVD Extra Announced May 21, 2008
TVShowsonDVD.com has reported there will be a DVD extra on the Season 1 DVD, entitled "Quantam Mechanics of The Big Bang Theory". The featurette talks to the cast and crew on how it is cool to be a geek.
Details of Season 1 DVD announced May 20, 2008
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced Season 1 of The Big Bang Theory on DVD.
The DVD will hit stores September 2nd, with all 17 episodes on 3 discs. Technical specs are the episodes will be in Widescreen with 5.1 surround sound. No word on any special features.

Big Bang explodes onto DVD May 13, 2008
While no official announcement of The Big Bang Theory on DVD has been made, Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders for Season 1 on DVD so we expect news very soon.

The ratings for Monday's episode are in and they were down on the previous week, the weather playing a large part in the willingness of people stay in at 8PM and watch TV instead of being outside.
