CBS has announced the details of the third episode of The Big Bang Theory, Sara Gilbert (Roseanne) will guest star in this episode.
"The Fuzzy Boots Corollary" - Leonard is bummed to learn that his crush, Penny, is seeing someone, so encouraged by his friends and fellow scientists, Leonard actually summons the nerve to ask a woman out on a date, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Oct. 8 (8:30-9:00 ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

We've been hearing that Laurie Metcalf, Jackie from Roseanne, would guest star on the show as Sheldon's mother for a while now but it was never official - well, now it is.
During last nights "Live from the Web Carpet", we heard Laurie Metcalf will indeed be on the show as Sheldon's mother.

CBS has announced a new installment of "Live From The Web Carpet". An online webcast featuring the stars of CBS's Monday night lineup will be webcast Wednesday, Sept. 19 (8 PM, PT /11PM, ET).
CBS RADIO is taking you live from one of the hottest nightclubs in West Hollywood for “The Cadillac of Premieres” in honor of CBS Television’s Monday night prime time shows. On Wednesday, Sept. 19 (8 PM, PT /11PM, ET), join host Leo Quinones of CBS RADIO’s KLSX-FM for this red carpet celebration featuring cast members from How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men, Rules of Engagement and CSI: Miami.
