While CBS's two other freshman series -- a comedy about two nerds and their hot and unattainable neighbor called "The Big Bang Theory" and a romantic vampire mystery called "Moonlight"-- fall right into line with the No. 1 ranked network's established shows, "Kid Nation," Viva Laughlin" and "Cane" are all gambles.
