E4 to premiere Season 2 in UK November 7, 2008
E4, the digital sister of Channel 4, will premiere Season 2 of The Big Bang Theory later this month. The new season will air Wednesdays at 9PM, from November 19th. 2 new episodes will air, between 9PM and 10PM.
So remember, you can see Season 2 on E4 at 9PM this November 19th.

Episode 2.08 Details November 5, 2008
We have some details of Episode 2.08, airing November 17th. It is titled The Lizard-Spock Expansion and Sara Rue guest stars.
Wolowitz thinks he's found the love of his life (Sara Rue), until she meets Leonard.

BBT pulls largest audience ever November 4, 2008
The Big Bang Theory pulled its largest audience ever yesterday. CBS have released the following statement:
THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered its largest audience ever and matched its best adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings while HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER posted season high adult 18-49 and adult 18-34 ratings, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, Nov. 3.
At 8:00 PM, THE BIG BANG THEORY was first in adults 18-49 (3.8/10), adults 18-34 (3.0/09), second in households (6.1/09), viewers (9.90m) and adults 25-54 (4.5/10, -0.2 behind ABC). BIG BANG THEORY delivered series highs in households and viewers, matched series highs in both adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 and a season high in adults 18-34.
Episode 2.06 Ratings Update November 4, 2008
We have more info on the ratings of last night's episode. As we reported earlier, CBS faced stiff competition from NBC's Saturday Night Live Presidential Bash special, pushing them into 3rd place overall. The Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother, however, fared very well placing 1st in the adults 18-49 demographic. HIMYM was tied for 1st, while The Big Bang Theory was the outright winner.
The Bang Theory Viewers: 9.90 million (2nd), Adults 18-49: 3.8/10 (1st).
How I Met Your Mother Viewers: 9.56 million (2nd), Adults 18-49: 4.1/10 (1st).
Episode 2.06 Ratings November 4, 2008
The rating for last night's episode, "The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem" are out. The show did well, out shining How I Met Your Mother, which succeeds the show, by quite a wide margin. The show was second with a 6.1/9 rating, while HIMYM slumped to third with a 5.7/8 rating. NBC posed stiff competition to CBS with a special Saturday Night Live airing, this pushed CBS to third place for most of the night, BBT help up comparatively well.

CBS announces Episode 2.07 November 3, 2008
CBS has announced Episode 2.07 "The Panty Piñata Polarization", which will air November 10th.
"The Panty Piñata Polarization" — Penny vows to get revenge on Sheldon when he bans her from the apartment for a series of petty infractions, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Nov. 10 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Britain to see Season 2 in November October 31, 2008
Season 2 of The Big Bang Theory will premiere in Britain this November. The show will air on digital network E4, the sister channel of terrestrial net Channel 4.
The time & date will be announced at a later date, but British fans can now look forward to seeing the show just a couple of months behind America.
Channel 4 bought The Big Bang Theory in June 2007, and began airing Season 1 of the show in February of this year. The show was a strong performer for both the digital & terrestrial network, pulling in as many as 1.3 million viewers for Channel 4.
