Episode 1.06 Ratings: First Look October 30, 2007
The first indications of the ratings for last night's episode are out, the show was second in the slot, with a 5.3/8 rating, a .3 increase on lead-in "How I Met Your Mother".

Episode 1.07 Announced October 25, 2007
CBS has officially announced the details of Episode 1.07 "The Dumpling Paradox" which will air November 5th.
"The Dumpling Paradox" - When Wolowitz seduces Penny's friend and takes over her apartment, Penny sleeps on Leonard and Sheldon's couch. With Wolowitz preoccupied, the guys discover they are without a fourth member of their group and in desperation, they ask Penny to join their Halo team, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday Nov. 5 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

DVR & Internet Ratings October 25, 2007
Over the last few years there has been significant change in the Entertainment Industry, specifically how we watch TV. Many of us are no longer watching shows live on our TVs, we are recording them with our DVRs or getting them on the Internet - from the streaming service offered by CBS to the download services from Apple and Amazon.
USAToday did the maths and found that an extra 540,000 people watch the show on their DVR within 7 days of its original airing.
They also found 911,066 full episodes were watched online and 430,372 clips - this doesn't even factor in iTunes.

Episode 1.05 Ratings: Final Numbers October 23, 2007
The final ratings for the last night's episode are out and The Big Bang Theory did better than expected.
It got 8.806 million viewers, 5.5/8 in US households and a 3.5/9 rating in adults aged 18-49. It got .30 million viewers more than How I Met Your Mother and built on both HIMYM's household and 18-49 rating by .1.
