The Indecision Amalgamation – While Raj is wracked with guilt when he tries to date two women at once, Penny wrestles with whether to take a role in a cheesy movie and Sheldon is torn trying to choose between two gaming systems, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, April 3 (8:00 – 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

7.18 'The Mommy Observation' Ratings March 14, 2014

Last night's The Big Bang Theory dominated its time slot to rank as the night's most-watched and highest-rated show. The Big Bang Theory will be the highest-rated show of the week in the key 18-49 demo.

"The Mommy Observation", which featured the return of Laurie Metcalf as Sheldon's mom, had an audience of 17.43 million people, falling by 750,000 people from last week. The Big Bang Theory scored a 4.9/17 rating in the 18-49 demographic, down fourtenths from the previous episode's 5.3/17.

The Big Bang Theory renewed for three seasons March 12, 2014

CBS has renewed The Big Bang Theory for three seasons, taking it through to its tenth season in 2016/17. With The Big Bang Theory currently enjoying its highest-rated season yet, its renewal and a multi-year deal were widely expected. This is the show's second three-year deal, following the 2011 deal which saw the show renewed through to its current seventh season.

Warner Bros. TV is reportedly in contract negotitations with the five original cast members, after Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch renewed their contracts last year. Deadline.com believes the show's license fee, at $5-$6m per episode, is one of the highest ever for a sitcom.

"Comedy is a big part of our schedule, and ‘The Big Bang Theory’ is the biggest comedy force on television," said CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler. "This multi-year deal further strengthens our network’s position for future seasons and marks another chapter in the great partnership CBS enjoys with Warner Bros. Television for delivering audiences the best in comedy. We’re proud to work with and showcase the incredible talents of Chuck Lorre, Steve Molaro and this amazing cast every week," she said.
