Episode 2.22 Ratings May 7, 2009
Nielsen have finally released the ratings for Monday night. The Big Bang Theory came third, behind ABC's Dancing with the Stars and Fox's House, with 9.25 million viewers and a 3.4/10 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.
How I Met Your Mother continued the night in 3rd place with 8.89 million viewers and a 3.6/9 rating. Two and a Half Men came second in total viewers with 14.17m, and tied for first in the adults 18-49 demo with a 5.0/12 rating. Rules of Engagement finished CBS's comedy block in second place with a 11.33 million viewers and a 4.1/10 rating.
CBS Announces Season Finale May 1, 2009
CBS has announced the final episode of Season 2, set to air May 11th. 23 episodes will have been produced this season, after the order was cut from 24 earlier this year.
"The Monopolar Expedition" - Penny is conflicted when Leonard and his friends decide to spend the summer working - at the North Pole, on the second season finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, May 11 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

'Big Bang' Season 2 coming to UK DVD April 30, 2009
The Big Bang Theory: Season 2 will be released on DVD in the United Kingdom on October 19th, a listing on the British e-tailer Play.com indicates.
No cover-art was provided, but the 4-disc set can now be pre-ordered for £16.99. Season 1 was released in the U.K. in January of this year.
Warner have yet to announce the DVD for release in the United States, but it is expected around September and can be pre-ordered at Amazon.com.
Update: HMV.com are taking pre-orders at £15.99.
Episode 2.21 Ratings April 28, 2009
The ratings for last night's show are in. The Big Bang Theory came third, behind ABC's behemoth Dancing with the Stars and Fox's House. The show was watched by 9.31 million people. In the adults 18-49 demographic it came third also, with a 3.4/10 rating.
How I Met Your Mother continued the night with similar ratings, it had fewer total viewers but a greater share of the 18-49 demo. Two and a Half Men was second in viewers, behind ABC's Dancing, with 14.09 million viewers. Men came first in the A18-49 demographic, setting a 4.9/12 rating. Rules of Engagement finished the comedy block in first place, with 11.29 million viewers and a 3.9/10 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Amazon posts Season 2 pre-order info April 18, 2009
Amazon.com has posted limited information about The Big Bang Theory: Season 2 DVD, giving fans their first chance to pre-order the DVD. No release date or cover-art is yet available, but Amazon is taking pre-orders for $41.99 ($59.98 RRP), which does sound quite high, I'd be very surprised if the actual cost isn't quite a bit lower when it's officially announced by Warner Bros.
The DVD should be released in the U.S. & Canada a little while before the next season begins. Official word from the studio should come within the next month or so.

Episode 2.20 Ratings April 14, 2009
Last night's episode came third in the ratings, squeezed by ABC's behemoth Dancing with the Stars and Fox's House. The show was watched by 10.13m viewers, still above the 10 million mark. In adults 18-49 the show placed second, with a 3.8/11 rating, coming behind House and ahead of Dancing with the Stars.
How I Met Your Mother shed a few of Bang's viewers, dropping below 10 million, and was ranked 3rd in households and adults.
Two and a Half Men was second with 14.80 million viewers, it placed first in adults 18-49 with a 5.2/13. Rules of Engagement finished the comedy block in first place with 11.57 viewers and a 4.0/10 A18-49 rating.
