We have more ratings news for last night's episode. The show pulled 10.89 million viewers and ranked second, behind House, in both viewers & adults 18-49, with a 4.1/10 rating in that demographic.

Episode 2.14 Ratings February 3, 2009
Preliminary ratings for last night's episode are out. The show performed well against House again, posting a 6.5/10 rating which placed it second. How I Met Your Mother ranked third in the slot and set a 6.1/9 rating.
Two and a Half Men was strong, as always, with a 9.8/14 rating, finishing first in the slot. Worst Week, which follows Men, dipped to a 6.3/9 and 3rd place. CBS was first place, ahead of Fox.
Episode 2.15 Announced February 2, 2009
CBS has announced the details of episode 2.15, "The Maternal Capacitance", set to air next week (Feb 9th). Mamma Mia star Christine Baranski will appear as Leonard's mother.
"The Maternal Capacitance" - A disastrous visit from Mrs. Hofstadter brings Leonard and Penny closer together, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Feb. 9 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Episode 2.15 Name January 27, 2009
CBS has not yet announced the details of episode 2.15, set to air February 9th, but we can reveal the title of the episode. Episode 2.15 will be titled "The Maternal Capacitance".
A rerun aired last night but original episodes return next Monday (February 2nd) with episode 2.14 "The Financial Permeability. A special airing of Big Bang will be broadcast on Thursday, February 5th, with "The Cooper-Nowitzki Theorem".
Rerun Ratings (01/26) January 27, 2009
Last night was a rerun night for CBS and just the second week that Fox hit House went up against The Big Bang Theory. CBS slumped to third place for the night, against Fox & ABC respectively.
The Big Bang Theory's rerun of "The Euclid Alternative" was watched by 9.29 million people and posted a 3.3/9 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.
How I Met Your Mother suffered especially bad, falling to 8.12 million people and a 3.1/7 rating in adults 18-49, but remained in third place.
Two and a Half Men was first in viewers, attracting 12.73 million of them, but was joint second in adults 18-49 posting a 4.1/10 rating with ABC's The Bachelor.
Next week original episodes will return, it will be interesting to see how many viewers return and if the show can build on its previous successes of above 10 million viewers.

CBS has announced the details of episode 2.14, "The Financial Permeability", which will air February 2nd.
"The Financial Permeability" - Sheldon's "simple" solution to Penny's financial problem leads to a confrontation between Leonard and Penny's hulking ex-boyfriend, Kurt, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Feb. 2 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Ratings Breakthrough January 22, 2009
The Big Bang Theory has made another breakthrough in the ratings, appearing in the top 20 television shows & the top ten shows in the 18-49 demographic for last week's episode. The show was ranked joint 18th, with How I Met Your Mother, in the top 20 shows and placed 10th in the adults 18-49 demographic.
Episode 2.13 Ratings January 20, 2009
We have the ratings from last night's episode, apologies for being late, I think people were busy watching the Inauguration! The ratings did, as we predicted, drop due to Fox moving their hit show House to the same time slot, but not by particularly much.
The show pulled 11.1 million viewers, which is 700,000 fewer than last week but still way above the average for Season 1 and the earlier episodes of Season 2. That's pretty impressive really. The other indicators were down as well, a .6 fall in households to 6.5/10 (opposed to 7.1/11 last week), a .4 fall in adults 18-49 to 4.0/10 (opposed to 4.4/11 last week), the show was second coming in behind House.
These are good ratings considering the show was up against House. This episode did better, even up against House, than any episode in the first season, and is the 3rd highest rated episode of this season. That's with competition from a show which, unlike Dancing with the Stars, targets much the same demographic.
How I Met Your Mother suffered worse, it lost viewers from Big Bang, and was rated much lower than last week. It did however get a higher rating in the adults 18-49 demographic.
