'Big Bang' trivia game looking for fans' questions May 17, 2012
Cardinal Industries, makers of The Big Bang Theory: Trivia Board Game, are running a contest to find fan-submitted trivia questions for a new fan edition of The Big Bang Theory trivia game. Visit TBBTTriviaGame.com to submit your question.
Four hundred of the fans' trivia questions will be selected for inclusion in this fan-edition of the game. If your question is selected your name will appear next to the question in the game, you will receive a Big Bang Theory t-shirt and you will also receive your own copy of the game.
The contest is open to all legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia who are not minors as defined by their state of residence at the time of entry. The entry deadline is June 8 and can enter up to ten times.

Fifth Season Finale Ratings May 11, 2012
Yesterday's season finale of The Big Bang Theory ranked first in its time period and was the night's #1 program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
"The Countdown Reflection" was watched by 13.30 million people, down by around 610,000 people from the previous episode. The Big Bang Theory scored a 4.2/15 rating in the 18-49 demo, down from 4.7/16 last week. The show scored a 5.5/17 rating among adults 25-54 and a 2.8/11 rating among adults 18-34. The Big Bang Theory finished first in total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
Compared to last year's season closer, the fifth season finale was up by 20% in adults 25-54, up 17% in adults 18-49 and added 2 million viewers. The Big Bang Theory has already been renewed for a sixth and seventh season, so the show will definitely be returning next season.
Episode 5.23 Ratings May 4, 2012
Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory, the penultimate episode of the current season, finished first in the ratings for its time slot and was the night's number #1 program in the key demographics.
"The Launch Acceleration" was watched by 13.63 million people, adding 980,000 people from last week, and scored an 8.3/14 rating in households. The show was up 6% in households and 8% in total viewers. When compared to American Idol in the shared half-hour, The Big Bang Theory finished first in total viewers and households.
In the important 18-49 demo, The Big Bang Theory scored a dominant 4.6/15 rating, up by 12% from 4.1/13 last week. The show scored a 5.8/17 among adults 25-54 and a 3.2/12 rating among adults 18-34, up 5% and 19% respectively. These were the show's best ratings since the March 29, 2012 episode. The Big Bang Theory was the night's top-rated program in adults 18-49, 25-54 and adults 18-34.

Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory topped American Idol in key adults 18-49 demographic, despite falling to a season low in the ratings.
"The Stag Convergence" was watched by 12.52 million people, down by 770,000 viewers from the last original episode. The Big Bang Theory finished second in households and total viewers, ranking behind American Idol. In the important adults 18-49 demo, Big Bang edged slightly ahead of American Idol to finish first with a 4.0/13 rating, down by four tenths of a rating point from April 5. The Big Bang Theory was the night's highest-rated program and was also the night's most-watched scripted program.

CBS has announced the fifth season finale of The Big Bang Theory will air Thursday, May 10. Casey Sander (Grace Under Fire) reprises his role as Mr. Rostenkowski, Bernadette's father in the episode. NASA Astronaut Mike Massimino also makes his second cameo appearance on the show.

The Big Bang Theory is in returns until April 26. Airing tonight is a rerun of "The Russian Rocket Reaction" at 8/7c and a rebroadcast of "The Rhinitis Revelation" at the special time of 9/8c. Next week there's another chance to see "The Good Guy Fluctuation" at the usual time of 8/7c. The show returns with the first of the season's last three episodes on April 26. The show has already been renewed for a sixth and seventh season, so The Big Bang Theory will definitely be back next season.

CBS has announced the April 26 episode of The Big Bang Theory. Wil Wheaton returns as himself and John Ross Bowie and Kevin Sussman reprise their roles as Kripke and Stuart, respectively, in the episode.

'Big Bang Theory' Seasons 1 and 2 coming to Blu-ray April 4, 2012
The Big Bang Theory: Season 1 and Season 2 will be released on Blu-ray for the first time in the United States & Canada on July 10th. The releases will be combination Blu-Ray & DVD sets and will also feature a digital download copy available through the UltraViolet system.
The show's first two seasons were previously only available on DVD until now. The show's Blu-ray releases began with its third season and continued for its fourth season release last year.
