Courtney Ford to guest star on Big Bang Theory September 22, 2011
Courtney Ford (Dexter, True Blood) is set to guest star on The Big Bang Theory in a potentially recurring role, reports TVLine.com. The actress will play Alice, a cute artsy girl who is, much like the guys, a comic book aficionado. She will run into the gang at Stuart's comic book store. Ford will reportedly appear in the October 27th episode of the show.
The Big Bang Theory returns for its fifth season tonight with TWO back-to-back episodes from 8/7c on CBS.
Mystic Warlords of Ka'a Facebook game launched September 22, 2011
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today launched The Big Bang Theory: Mystic Warlords of Ka'a game on Facebook. The game, which is based on the fantasy card game the guys play on the show, is free and open for everybody to play. The Facebook game allows fans to play with characters from the series or challenge their friends. The game features two modes: "Duel Mode", which provides quick and easy matches, and "Battle Mode", where players can battle out and challenge their friends. The game features collectible cards which players can also trade.

CBS Announces Episode 5.05 September 20, 2011
CBS has announced the October 13th episode of The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon's nemesis Wil Wheaton returns in the episode. Wheaton's former Star Trek: Next Generation co-star Brent Spiner also guest stars as himself in the episode.
"The Russian Rocket Reaction" - Sheldon and Leonard get invited to a party at Wil Wheaton's house, and Howard gets an out-of-this-world opportunity, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Oct. 13 (8:00 - 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. "Star Trek: The Next Generation's" Wil Wheaton and Brent Spiner guest star as themselves.

The Big Bang Theory enters syndication September 19, 2011
The Big Bang Theory today enters syndication in the United States. The show will now air five nights a week on local stations across the US starting with the first ever episode. You can find your local showtimes on the BigBangWeeknights.com website, which also features videos and exclusive downloads about the show.
TBS will also be airing the show on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting tomorrow, September 20th. You can find The Big Bang Theory games, downloads and listings at TBS.com.
Jim Parsons wins second Emmy award September 18, 2011
Jim Parsons won the Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards today in Los Angeles. This was Parsons' third nomination and second win for his work as Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory.
The other contenders for the award were fellow co-star Johnny Galecki, Matt LeBlanc (Episodes), Steve Carell (The Office), Louis C.K. (Louie) and Alec Baldwin (30 Rock).
Emmy Awards: Live from the Red Carpet September 18, 2011
The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards take place tonight in Los Angeles. You can watch them live tonight on Fox at 8pm ET/5pm PT. The Big Bang Theory is nominated for the Outstanding Comedy Series award and both Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki are nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award. This is the show's and Johnny Galecki's first nomination. Jim Parsons was first nominated in 2009 and won the award last year.
