Big Bang renewed for 2 seasons Posted March 18, 2009

The Big Bang Theory has today officially been renewed for 2 additional seasons, taking it through to its 4th season in 2010/11. Two and a Half Men was renewed for an additional 3 years, taking it through to its 9th season in 2011/12. Men is currently the number 1 comedy on TV.
"Our collaboration with Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre for these two series has led to great entertainment for television audiences and has been very good business for CBS," said Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment. "With these shows firmly in place, CBS is well-positioned for more comedy success in the years ahead."
