CBS opens new Thursday slot with a 'Bang' Posted August 17, 2010

CBS will mark The Big Bang Theory's move to Thursdays with a special two-hour marathon of the show a week before the start of the new season. The marathon runs from 8:00-10:00 on Thursday, September 16th and contains the last four episodes of Season 3.
The new season of Big Bang gets underway on September 23rd. The show kicks off a new one-hour comedy block on Thursdays that also includes the show $#*! My Dad Says, starring William Shatner and based on a Twitter feed of the same name. CBS's Thursday night schedule continues with drama from CSI at 9 and The Mentalist at 10.
Mayim Bialik is to return as Sheldon's potential love interest, Amy Fowler, in the fourth season premiere. No other details have yet been revealed about the season opener.
