Sara Gilbert joins show as a regular

Sara Gilbert ("Roseanne"), who played Leonard's colleague & on-and-off girlfriend 'Leslie' in a 3 episode stint on The Big Bang Theory, has joined the show as a regular.

Sara Gilbert had a leading role on the hit ABC sitcom "Roseanne" where Johnny Galecki (Leonard) played her on-and-off boyfriend. Gilbert earned two Emmy nominations for that role.
