CBS has issued the press release for the October 23 episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Collaboration Contamination".
The Collaboration Contamination - Sheldon and Koothrappali confide in Bernadette when they can't handle Amy and Wolowitz working together. Also, Penny and Leonard learn new tactics for how to deal Sheldon from an unlikely source, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Oct. 23 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This will be the last episode of the season to air on Monday nights. The Big Bang Theory returns to Thursdays at 8/7c on November 2 where the show will be followed by Young Sheldon, the new spin-off series which debuted last month.

CBS gives Young Sheldon full-season order September 28, 2017
CBS gave Young Sheldon a full-season order after airing only one episode. The network's order for another nine episodes will take the show's first season up to twenty-two episodes.
Young Sheldon's debut on Monday night was the biggest comedy premiere in six years. Following the eleventh season premiere of The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon held onto a whopping 97.5% of the show's audience.
Young Sheldon will continue Thursday, November 2 at 8:30/7:30c right after The Big Bang Theory as it moves back to Thursday nights.
E4 to air 'Big Bang' Season 11 next month September 27, 2017
The eleventh season of The Big Bang Theory will premiere in the United Kingdom next month. E4 will start airing the new season on Thursday, October 12 at 8:30pm.
In The Big Bang Theory's eleventh season premiere, "The Proposal Proposal", Amy gives Sheldon her answer to his proposal while Howard and Bernadette receive some surprising news.
E4 has been the British broadcaster of The Big Bang Theory since the show's inception, picking up the rights back in the summer of 2007. The tenth season of The Big Bang Theory was the channel's most popular show of the year, averaging 2.4 million viewers an episode.
E4 just yesterday announced it will be the U.K. home of Young Sheldon, the new The Big Bang Theory spin-off which follows the early life of Sheldon growing up in East Texas. The channel will start airing Young Sheldon in the U.K. next year.
Bob Newhart to return as Professor Proton September 27, 2017
Hot off his cameo appearance on Monday night's series debut of Young Sheldon, Bob Newhart will be returning to The Big Bang Theory as Professor Proton later this season.
Comedy legend Bob Newhart first appeared in the sixth season as Sheldon and Leonard's childhood hero, Arthur Jeffries, who hosted a children's science show as Professor Proton. Newhart won the first Emmy award of his career for his appearance in "The Proton Resurgence".
Arthur Jeffries passed away in the Season 7 episode "The Proton Transmogrification". Since then his character has appeared to Sheldon in dreams as his "Obi-Wan". Newhart most recently appeared in the Season 9 episode "The Opening Night Excitation", helping calm Sheldon's nerves ahead of his first intimate night with Amy.
Newhart will guest star in the November 2 episode - the show's first episode back on Thursday nights - which has not been taped yet. Sheldon's nemesis-turned-friend Wil Wheaton will also appear in the episode.
Young Sheldon is top comedy premiere in four years September 26, 2017
Last night's debut of the new The Big Bang Theory spin-off, Young Sheldon, was the most-watched comedy premiere in six years, since 2 Broke Girls in 2011, and was the highest-rated premiere since 2013's The Crazy Ones.
Young Sheldon, which followed the eleventh season premiere of The Big Bang Theory, retained a resounding 97.5% of Big Bang's audience. Young Sheldon had 17.21 million viewers and a 3.8/16 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic to finish in its time period. Young Sheldon was the night's second most-watched and highest-rated program behind The Big Bang Theory. Young Sheldon will return November 2 when The Big Bang Theory moves back to Thursday nights.
The Big Bang Theory's eleventh season premiere delivered its best ratings since the December 2015 episode "The Opening Night Excitation". Last night's season opener, "The Proposal Proposal", was watched by 17.65 million people and had a 4.1/16 rating in the 18-49 for a clear first-place finish in its time slot and for the night as a whole. Compared to the tenth season premiere, The Big Bang Theory was up 1.83m viewers and three tenths in the demo.
