904 'The 2003 Approximation' Ratings October 13, 2015
The Big Bang Theory was the most-watched and highest-rated show on Monday night with its ratings steady from the week before.
Last night's episode, "The 2003 Approximation", was watched by 14.96 million people, down from 15.40m the week before. The Big Bang Theory had a three million viewer lead on the nearest competing show. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory scored a 3.9/13 rating, matching the performance on the previous episode.
The Big Bang Theory was the top-rated show in its time period and for the night as a whole in all key ratings.
Laura Spencer promoted to a series regular on TBBT October 13, 2015
Laura Spencer, who plays Raj's girlfriend Emily, has been promoted to a series regular on the show. Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory was the first to feature her name in the opening credits.
According to TVLine, Spencer has been made a "fractional series regular", which means she won't appear in every episode, but it guarantees she will be available to the show on an as-needed basis.
The actress has been doing double duty with a recurring stint on the FOX drama series Bones alongside her appearances on The Big Bang Theory.
Emily is Raj's most serious relationship to date. Her character first appeared in the Season 7 episode "The Friendship Turbulence", which was followed by a further four appearances in the seventh season and then six appearances last season.
905 'The Perspiration Implementation' Press Release October 12, 2015
CBS has issued the press release for next week's episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Perspiration Implementation". John Ross Bowie reprises his role as Barry Kripke in the episode.
The Perspiration Implementation– The guys take a fencing lesson from Barry Kripke and Sheldon finds himself in an awkward position when Kripke expresses interest in Amy. Also, when Stuart struggles to get female customers at the Comic Book Store, Penny, Amy and Bernadette come by to help him out, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Oct. 19 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
A new episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The 2003 Approximation", airs tonight (Monday, October 12) at 8/7c on CBS.

Michael Rapaport to guest star on The Big Bang Theory October 12, 2015
Michael Rapaport (Prison Break, Friends) will guest star on an episode of The Big Bang Theory airing later this month, Yahoo! TV has exclusively reported.
The actor will appear in the October 26 episode, "The Helium Insufficiency", which sees Sheldon and Leonard forced to turn to a shady chemical dealer (Rapaport) to secure quantities of the rare gas helium on the black market because of a worldwide shortage.

UK premiere date set for TBBT Season 9 October 9, 2015
The ninth season of The Big Bang Theory will premiere in the UK later this month, E4 have announced. New episodes of The Big Bang Theory will air Thursdays at 20:30 on E4 starting October 22.
The ninth season premiere follows on from the eighth season finale which saw Amy tell Sheldon she needed a break from their relationship, while Leonard and Penny's plans to elope to Vegas were in question when he admitted kissing another woman during his North Sea expedition.
In the premiere episode, "The Matrimonial Momentum", Leonard and Penny arrive in Vegas to get married but Leonard's shock admission is still weighing on Penny. Meanwhile, Sheldon is in a state of flux after Amy called time on their relationship.

In the episode, a change in his living situation takes Sheldon by surprise and causes him to regress to 2003, a time before he knew Leonard and Penny. Meanwhile, Howard and Raj start a band to play at Stuart's comic book store.

The Big Bang Theory was Monday night's most-watched and highest-rated show after delivering a week-to-week gain in the ratings.
Last night's episode, "The Bachelor Party Corrosion", was watched by 15.40 million people, up by 170,000 people from the week before. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory scored a 3.9/13 rating, up a tenth from the previous episode.
The Big Bang Theory was the top-rated show across all key ratings in its time period and for Monday night as a whole.
