The 2003 Approximation – Sheldon learns of an impending change in his living arrangements and decides to revert back to 2003, a simpler time before he met Leonard and Penny. Also, Howard and Raj form a band to play at the Comic Book Store, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Oct. 12 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

In the episode, the guys head off to Mexico on a physics-themed bachelor party for Leonard, but their brains are put to the test when they get a flat tire. Meanwhile, Amy and Bernadette force Penny to finally tell her dad that she and Leonard got married in Vegas.

CBS has released the synopsis for the October 5 episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Bachelor Party Corrosion". Keith Carradine reprises his role as Penny's father, Wyatt, in the episode.

The Bachelor Party Corrosion – The guys’ science skills are put to the test when they get a flat tire during Leonard’s bachelor party weekend in Mexico. Also, the girls force Penny to finally tell her family that she eloped with Leonard, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Oct. 5 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

The Big Bang Theory returns tonight with its ninth season premiere, "The Matrimonial Momentum", at 8/7c on CBS. The show is airing on Monday for the start of the season to make way for Thursday Night Football. The Big Bang Theory jumps back to its regular Thursday night slot on November 5.

The Big Bang Theory: Season 8 released on DVD and Blu-ray September 15, 2015

The eighth season of The Big Bang Theory was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada today. The DVD and Blu-ray were out Monday in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and are released tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand.

The Big Bang Theory: Season 8 DVD The three-disc box-set includes all twenty-four episodes of The Big Bang Theory's latest season. The bonus features include a gag reel, footage from The Big Bang Theory's 2014 panel at Comic-Con, and four behind the scenes featurettes: "Shooting Stars: BBT on BBT" about Billy Bob Thornton's guest appearance, "Constellation Prize", "Here's To You, Carol Ann Susi", and "It's A Quark ... It's An Atom ... It's the #BBTSuperfans".

The Big Bang Theory: Season 8 Blu-ray The two-disc Blu-ray box-set includes all twenty-four episodes of The Big Bang Theory's 2014/15 season on high-definition Blu-ray. The episodes are presented in 1080p widescreen with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. The box-set has the same special features as the DVD and also includes Ultra-Violet digital downloads of the episodes.

In the United Kingdom and Ireland, The Big Bang Theory: Season 8  DVD and Blu-ray box-sets were released on Monday. TBBT Seasons 1-8 box-sets were also on released on DVD and Blu-ray.

For fans in Australia and New Zealand, the Season 8 DVD and Blu-ray are released tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16.

CBS has issued the press release for the second episode of The Big Bang Theory's upcoming ninth season. "The Separation Oscillation" will air Monday, September 28 at 8/7c. As previously reported, Melissa Tang (Mom) will guest star as Mandy, the woman whom Leonard kissed during his North Sea expedition two years ago.

The Separation Oscillation – Leonard confronts the woman he kissed on the North Sea in an attempt to set Penny’s mind at ease. Also, Sheldon films a special episode of “Fun with Flags” after his breakup with Amy, and Bernadette feels guilty about withholding a secret from Penny, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Sept. 28 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

The Big Bang Theory has temporarily moved to Monday nights at 8/7c for the start of the season to make room for Thursday Night Football. The show will move back to its regular Thursday night slot on Thursday, November 5. The ninth season premieres on Monday, September 21 with "The Matrimonial Momentum".

The Big Bang Theory Spoiler Round-up August 29, 2015

With a little over three weeks to go until The Big Bang Theory's ninth season premiere, spoilers of what to expect in the new season are starting to flow out. Here's a round-up of what's been reported over the past few days:

TVLine revealed the conclusion to Leonard and Penny's marital cliffhanger from the eighth season finale. When we last saw them, Leonard and Penny were driving to Vegas to get married, but their wedding plans were thrown in doubt when Leonard admitted kissing another woman during his time at sea.

The Force Awakens, the upcoming Star Wars movie, will be discussed on the show this season, executive producer Steve Molaro confirmed to TVLine. With the guys being such huge fans of the franchise, Molaro said it would be weird for them to not mention the film. They're not sure yet on how the film will play into a story line, but it won't be ignored.

The Big Bang Theory guys will be taking a physics-themed road trip, according to EW.com's Spoiler Room. The guys will travel to Mexico in the van of the late theoretical physicist Richard Feynman.

EW.com's Spoiler Room also recently reported that Laurie Metcalf and Keith Carradine will be reprising their role as Sheldon's mother and Penny's father, respectively, in upcoming episodes. Laurie Metcalf will guest star as Mary Cooper in the season premiere, while Keith Carradine will make his second appearance as Wyatt in the third episode of the season.

Finally, TVLine reported earlier this month that Leonard's "other woman" had been cast. Melissa Tang, who recent had a recurring role on Chuck Lorre's Mom, will play Mandy, the woman Leonard admitted kissing during his North Sea expedition two years ago.
