7.11 'The Cooper Extraction' Press Release December 5, 2013
CBS has issued the press release for this season's Christmas episode of The Big Bang Theory, which will air next Thursday, December 12. Laurie Metcalf returns as Mary Cooper, while Brian Thomas Smith reprises his role as Penny's ex, Zack.
The Cooper Extraction – While Sheldon is away in Texas, everyone gathers to decorate the apartment Christmas tree, and they each realize how much he has changed their lives, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Dec. 12 (8:00 – 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
This is The Big Bang Theory's last original episode of 2013. The reruns over the festive period will be The Deception Verification on December 19 and The Love Spell Potential on December 26. The Big Bang Theory will be back with an original episode on January 2.

The Big Bang Theory posts its best Live+3 day ratings November 26, 2013
The Big Bang Theory has posted its best Live+3 day ratings ever, according to Nielsen ratings for last Thursday's episode. The Live+3 day ratings add in DVR viewing over three days following the live broadcast.
The Big Bang Theory received its largest +3 lift in viewers and adults 25-54, adding 4.94m viewers and a rising by 2.4 points in in the 25-54 demo. The show also matched its best 3-day performance in the key 18-49 demographic, adding 2.1 points.
Not only did last week's episode show the biggest +3-day growth, the show's total +3-day audience also hit new highs. The Thanksgiving episode had a Live+3-day audience of 23.88m viewers. The episode also hit season highs in the 25-54 and 18-49 demos, with 9.4 and 7.4 ratings, respectively, in the L+3 ratings.

7.09 'The Thanksgiving Decoupling' Ratings November 22, 2013
Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory dominated its time slot to rank as the night's most-watched and highest-rated broadcast. The Big Bang Theory had more viewers and a higher rating in the key demos than the other four networks combined.
"The Thanksgiving Decoupling", the show's first ever Thanksgiving episode, had 18.94 million viewers. This was 640,000 more people than last week's episode and was the show's biggest audience since 7.02 "The Deception Verification".
In the key adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory scored a 5.3/16 rating, up a tenth from last week, in its best performance since September 26.
