Warner Bros. begin negotiations with CBS for multi-year renewal

Warner Bros. Television have entered negotiations with CBS for a multi-year renewal deal for The Big Bang Theory, Deadline.com reported today. The deal is likely to match the length of its previous three-year deal, taking the show through to its tenth season in 2016/17.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Warner Bros. has not begun contract negotiations with the five original cast members yet, but is likely to start negotitations for a new three-year contract early in the new year. Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch signed new contracts earlier this year.

Josh Peck to guest star

Josh Peck, former star of Nickelodeon's Drake and Josh, is to guest star in an episode of The Big Bang Theory early next year, TVLine.com revealed today (spoilers). The episode is set to air January 9, after The Big Bang Theory returns with new episodes on January 2.
