7.05 'The Workplace Proximity' Ratings October 18, 2013
Last night's episode of The Big Bang Theory rankedfirst in its time slot and was the night's top-rated and most-watched program.
"The Workplace Proximity" had an audience of 17.80 million people, adding 160,000 people over last week's episode. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory had a 5.2/17 rating, up slightly from last week's 5.1/17. The Big Bang Theory was the night's #1 show in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.

UK premiere date set for Season 7 October 16, 2013
The seventh season of The Big Bang Theory will start airing in the United Kingdom later this month. E4 and E4 HD will be airing new episodes weekly from Thursday, October 31 at 8:30.
In the seventh season premiere, "The Hofstadter Insufficiency", Sheldon and Penny share intimate secrets while Leonard is away at sea, Raj gets consoled about his ex-girlfriend, and Bernadette and Amy get hit on at a hotel bar.

7.06 'The Romance Resonance' Press Release October 15, 2013
CBS has issued the press release for next week's episode of The Big Bang Theory, 7.06 "The Romance Resonance".
The Romance Resonance – Sheldon’s major scientific breakthrough makes him feel like a fraud. Meanwhile, Howard’s romantic gesture to Bernadette causes Penny to step up her game with Leonard, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, Oct. 24 (8:00 – 8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
More information about this episode is available in our Episode Guide. A rerun of 6.13 "The Bakersfield Expedition" will be airing the following Thursday, October 31, in the first break of the new season. A rebroadcast of 6.20 "The Tenure Turbulence", with guest star Regina King, will also be airing that night at the special time of 9:30/8:30c.
In other scheduling news, reruns of The Big Bang Theory are currrently filling in at 9/8c Monday nights on CBS. A rebroadcast of the seventh season premiere, 7.01 "The Hofstadter Insufficiency", airs next Monday, October 21.
The Big Bang Theory hits new highs in Live+7 ratings October 14, 2013
The Big Bang Theory's record-breaking seventh season premiere has reached new highs in the Live +7-day ratings. The L+7 ratings include DVR viewership over the following week.
The seventh season premiere "The Hofstadter Insufficiency" added 5.17 million people with 7-day DVR viewership, a rise of 27%, to hit to a record audience of 24.16 million people. This was the show's largest lift to date, at that point. In the key adults 18-49 demographic, the episode moved up 2.3 points in the L+7 ratings to a 7.8 rating, up 42%.
The ratings soared higher for the second of the night's episodes, "The Deception Verification" at 8:30. This episode added 5.71 million viewers, setting the record again for the show's largest lift, to reach 26.15 million in the L+7 ratings. The special broadcast rose by 41% 18-49 demo to an 8.6 rating, up by 2.5 points.
In the Live + 7-day ratings, both episodes of The Big Bang Theory surpassed Sunday Night Football in viewers and adults 18-49 to become the week's #1 programs in viewers and adults 18-49.
