The Big Bang Theory receives 2 SAG nominations Posted December 10, 2014
The Big Bang Theory and its cast were nominated for two awards at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The show's cast was nominated in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series category, while star Jim Parsons was also recognized in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series category.
The Big Bang Theory's cast is up against the casts of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Modern Family, Orange Is The New Black and Veep. The other contenders for the Male Actor in a Comedy award are Modern Family's Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet, Louie's Louis C.K. and Shameless star William H. Macy.
The SAG Awards ceremony takes place Sunday, January 25 in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live on TNT and TBS.
