The Big Bang Theory wins Teen Choice Award Posted August 17, 2015
The Big Bang Theory won the Choice TV: Comedy Show award at last night's Teen Choice Awards. The cermony aired live on FOX with hosts Gina Rodriguez, Josh Peck and Ludacris.
This was the second consecutive year that The Big Bang Theory took home the award for best TV comedy. This year marked the show's fifth consecutive nomination for the award.
The Big Bang Theory stars Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting were nominated in the Choice TV Actor and Actress Comedy categories for the fifth year running, though they did not win the awards. Austin and Ally star Ross Lynch won the Choice TV Actor: Comedy award, while Glee's Lea Michele won the Choice TV Actress: Comedy award. Jim Parsons was the winner of the award back in 2013.
