The sixth season premiere of The Big Bang Theory was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Last night's episode also received the show's largest audience and highest 18-49 demo rating ever for a season premiere.
"The Date Night Variable" was watched by 15.66 million people and scored a 9.3/16 rating in households. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory was adjusted up two tenths of a ratings point to a 5.0/15 rating. The Big Bang Theory finished first in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 in its time period.
