'The Big Bang Theory' hits rating highs, again! Posted January 11, 2013
The Big Bang Theory hit new series highs in viewers and crucial demographics last night for the second consecutive week. The Big Bang Theory also managed to beat the first-run competition combined in viewers and key demos.
"The Bakersfield Expedition" was watched by 19.78 million people, adding more than half a million people over last week's 19.25m audience. In the adults 18-49 demographic, The Big Bang Theory scored a dominant 6.3/19 rating, up two notches from 6.1/19 last week, and an 8.1/21 rating among adults 25-54. The Big Bang Theory finished first in its time period in all key ratings metrics. The show ranked as the night's most-watched and highest-rated broadcast.
This week's episode The Big Bang Theory set new series highs in households, total viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. This was also the show's best performance among adults 18-34 since February 8, 2010.
