Season 11 Episode Tournament: Final Round

We are running an episode tournament to find fans' favorite episode from the eleventh season of The Big Bang Theory. The second knock-out round has closed and voting is now open in the final round.

In the previous round, The Bow Tie Asymmetry defeated The Sibling Realignment with a decisive 79.5% of the vote, while The Matrimonial Metric edged out The Proposal Proposal with a 55.4% share of the vote.

The final round between The Bow Tie Asymmetry and The Matrimonial Metric is open now. Voting will close this Saturday, June 16, so remember to check back then to find out the result.

Season 11 Episode Tournament: Round 2

We are running an episode tournament to find the fans' favorite episode of the latest season of The Big Bang Theory. The first knock-out round has now closed and the four most popular episodes have made it through to the semi-finals.

In the previous round, The Bow Tie Asymmetry decisively beat The Monetary Insufficiency with a whopping 91% of the vote, The Proposal Proposal edged out The Celebration Reverberation with a 54% share, The Sibling Realignment was victorious against The Reclusive Potential with 62% of votes, and The Matrimonial Metric won against The Bitcoin Entanglement with 61% of the vote. 

The four winning episodes now go head-to-head in the following pairs: The Bow Tie Asymmetry vs. The Sibling Realignment, and The Proposal Proposal vs. The Matrimonial Metric. Each match will last three days and the first match is open now. Remember to check back on Friday, June 8 to vote in the second match.

CBS announces eleventh season finale

CBS has issued the press release for the upcoming eleventh season finale of The Big Bang Theory, "The Bow Tie Asymmetry", which airs Thursday, May 10.

As previously revealed, Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Kathy Bates (Misery) and magician Teller will guest star in the episode. Jerry O'Connell (Stand by Me), who first guest stars in this week's episode, "The Sibling Realignment", will return as Georgie Cooper. Courtney Henggeler, who last appeared in the Season 1 episode "The Pork Chop Indeterminacy", will reprise her role as Sheldon's twin sister, Missy, and Laurie Metcalf is back as Sheldon's mother, Mary.

John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke), Brian Posehn (Bert), Lauren Lapkus (Denise) and Wil Wheaton also appear in the episode.

The Bow Tie Asymmetry - When Amy's parents and Sheldon's family arrive for the wedding, everybody is focused on making sure all goes according to plan - everyone except the bride and groom, on the 11th season finale of THE BIG BANG THEORY, Thursday, May 10 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Although this season is coming to an end, there's no need to panic as CBS has already The Big Bang Theory for a twelfth season in 2018/19.

CBS has revealed the season finale storylines for its shows, including The Big Bang Theory. The show's eleventh season finale will air Thursday, May 10.

"The Bow Tie Asymmetry" - When Amy's (Mayim Bialik) parents and Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) family arrive, everybody is focused to make sure all goes according to plan - everyone except the bride and groom. Kathy Bates, John Ross Bowie, Mark Hamill, Courtney Henggeler, Lauren Lapkus, Laurie Metcalf, Jerry O'Connell, Brian Posehn, Teller, and Wil Wheaton guest star.

Don't worry, The Big Bang Theory has already been renewed for a twelfth season which will air in 2018/19.

As The Big Bang Theory's eleventh season comes to a close next month, CBS has revealed the packed guest list for the season finale which will feature Sheldon and Amy's wedding.

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill, Kathy Bates (Misery), who won an Emmy for her guest appearance on Chuck Lorre's Two and a Half Men, and magician Teller will all be appearing in the episode though their exact roles have not been revealed.

As previously reported, we will be meeting another member of the Cooper family as Jerry O'Connell (Stand by Me, Sliders) appears as Sheldon's older brother, George Jr. Courtney Henggeler (Cobra Kai, Mom) will be reprising her role as Sheldon's twin sister, Missy, last seen in the Season 1 episode "The Pork Chop Indeterminacy", and Laurie Metcalf will be returning as Sheldon's mother, Mary.

An array of familiar faces will also be present with John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke), Brian Posehn (Bert), and Wil Wheaton featuring in the episode. Lauren Lapkus, who first guest stars in this week's episode, "The Comet Polarization", will also be returning.

The eleventh season finale will air Thursday, May 10 at 8/7c on CBS. Don't panic though, The Big Bang Theory has already been renewed for a twelfth season to air in 2018/19.

Jerry O'Connell cast as Sheldon's brother March 22, 2018

The Big Bang Theory is set to introduce Sheldon's older brother, Georgie Cooper, in the upcoming season finale, the producers revealed yesterday at PaleyFest.

Jerry O'Connell (Standy by Me, Sliders, Crossing Jordan) has been cast as Sheldon's "dumb as soup" brother, who is played by Montana Jordan on Young Sheldon. Unlike Sheldon's twin sister Missy, who we met in the first season of The Big Bang Theory, we have only heard references to Sheldon's brother so far.

The eleventh season finale, which will air Thursday, May 10, will cover Sheldon and Amy's wedding. Laurie Metcalf will be returning as Sheldon's mother, Mary, in the episode.

There was no word whether Sheldon's twin sister, Missy, who was played by Courtney Henggeler in "The Pork Chop Indeterminacy", or his Meemaw, played by June Squibb in "The Meemaw Materalization", will be returning for Sheldon and Amy's big day.
