The Big Bang Theory: Season 11 out on DVD and Blu-ray September 11, 2018
The Big Bang Theory: Season 11 was released today on DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada.
The two-disc DVD and Blu-ray box-sets contain all twenty-four episodes from the latest season of The Big Bang Theory along with new bonus features. The Blu-ray set also includes digital downloads of the episodes.
The special features on both box-sets include a gag reel and three new featurettes: "A BBT History of Time", "The Big Bang Theory: The Blueprint of Comedy", and "The Maturation Imperative". The Blu-ray release also includes The Big Bang Theory's 2017 panel at Comic-Con.

1202 'The Wedding Gift Wormhole' Press Release September 7, 2018
CBS has issued the press release for the second episode of The Big Bang Theory's final season, "The Wedding Gift Wormhole". The episode airs Thursday, September 27 as the show moves back to its regular time period.
Brian George (Dr. Koothrappali), Brian Posehn (Bert) and Lauren Lapkus (Denise) guest star in the episode.
"The Wedding Gift Wormhole" - Sheldon and Amy drive themselves crazy trying to figure out what "perfect gift" Leonard and Penny gave them for their wedding. Also, Koothrappali decides he wants to settle down and asks his father to arrange a marriage for him, on THE BIG BANG THEORY, when it moves to its regular time slot, Thursday, Sept. 27 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The Big Bang Theory's final season premieres Monday, September 24 at 8/7c on CBS.
The Big Bang Theory Episode Tournament: Result August 31, 2018
The final round of our tournament to find fans' favorite episodes of The Big Bang Theory has now closed. The winning episode was "The Bow Tie Asymmetry", the eleventh season finale which saw Sheldon and Amy finally tie the knot.
In the final round of the tournament, "The Bow Tie Asymmetry" beat "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis" with 51.9% of the vote.
In "The Bow Tie Asymmetry", Sheldon and Amy's families come to town for their wedding. While Penny works hard to make sure the occasion goes to plan, a lesson from Amy in the beauty of asymmetry leads Sheldon to look at string theory in a new way.

CBS announces final season premiere August 23, 2018
CBS has issued the press release for the upcoming season premiere of The Big Bang Theory. The network yesterday confirmed that the show will be coming to an end in 2019 with its twelfth season.
The first episode of the final season, "The Conjugal Configuration", airs on a special night, Monday, September 24 at 8/7c with the second season premiere of Young Sheldon following at 8:30.
Kathy Bates and Teller reprise their roles as Amy's parents. Neil deGrasse Tyson, who appeared in a Season 4 episode, guest stars as himself.
The Conjugal Configuration - Sheldon and Amy's honeymoon runs aground in New York, while Penny and Leonard discover they are uncomfortably similar to Amy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fowler (Teller and Kathy Bates) . Also, Koothrappali insults physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and starts a Twitter war, on the 12th season premiere of THE BIG BANG THEORY, on a special night, Monday, Sept. 24 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
There's a double dose of The Big Bang Theory in premiere week as the show returns to its regular Thursday night time period on September 27 with another brand new episode.
The Big Bang Theory to end with twelfth season August 22, 2018
The Big Bang Theory will sign off in May 2019 after its upcoming twelfth season, CBS and Warner Bros. announced today.
The world's number one comedy will have become the longest-running multi-camera sitcom in TV history when the series finale airs next year. With a final season of twenty-four episodes starting next month, the show will ultimately have produced 279 episodes since it began in 2007.
"We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past twelve seasons. We, along with the cast, writers and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show's success and aim to deliver a final season, and series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close", Warner Bros. Television, CBS and Chuck Lorre Productions said in a joint statement.
The Big Bang Theory's final season will premiere with a special broadcast on Monday, September 24 at 8/7c on CBS. There's another brand new episode that week as the show returns to its regular night time period on Thursday, September 27 at 8/7c.

CBS announces season premiere dates July 10, 2018
CBS has announced its fall premiere dates for the upcoming 2018/19 season, including a double dose of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon in premiere week.
The Big Bang Theory will return on a special night with its twelfth season premiere airing Monday, September 24 at 8/7c. The second season premiere of Young Sheldon follows at 8:30/7:30c. The series debut of the new Magnum P.I. airs at 9/8c before the third season premiere of Bull at 10/9c.
Fans won't have long to wait for more The Big Bang Theory as the show returns to its regular time period on Thursday, September 27 at 8/7c with another brand new episode. A new episode of Young Sheldon, back in its regular time period, airs at 8:30/7:30c. The sixth season premiere of Chuck Lorre's Mom airs at 9/8c ahead of the season premiere of the newly revived Murphy Brown at 9:30/8:30c. The second season premiere of S.W.A.T. closes the night at 10/9c.
The Big Bang Theory has not yet been renewed past this upcoming twelfth season.

In the final round, The Bow Tie Asymmetry racked up 80.4% of the votes against The Matrimonial Metric to be crowned the winner of the tournament.
In The Bow Tie Asymmetry, Sheldon and Amy's families come to Pasadena for the big Shamy wedding, eight years after the couple first met. As maid-of-honor Penny works hard to keep family drama from disrupting the ceremony, Sheldon and Amy are so busy developing a new scientific theory that they delay their own wedding.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has announced the release of The Big Bang Theory: Season 11 DVD and Blu-ray in the United States and Canada on Tuesday, September 11.
The two-disc box-sets will include all twenty-four episodes of the show's latest season along with new bonus features: "The Maturation Imperative" featurette, "From Script to Scene: The Blueprint of Comedy" featurette, "A BBT History of Time: Remembering Stephen Hawking" featurette and a Gag Reel.
The Blu-ray box-set will also feature The Big Bang Theory's 2017 Comic-Con panel and includes digital downloads of the episodes. Both box-sets include English audio tracks and English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles.
