Steven Molaro is an American television writer and producer best known for his work as showrunner, writer and producer on The Big Bang Theory. Molaro is a co-creator, executive producer and showrunner of the new The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon. 

Molaro was a writer for a number of Nickelodeon shows in the early 2000s including The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101 and iCarly. Molaro also wrote for sitcoms including Complete Savages and The Class.

Molaro has been a writer and producer on The Big Bang Theory since it premiered in 2007. In 2012, Molaro replaced The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady as showrunner. In 2017, Molaro left that job to become showrunner on Young Sheldon. Steve Holland replaced Molaro as showrunner on The Big Bang Theory.
